Protecting Our Children in a Digital Age

St. Brigid's NS Castleknock is delighted to host online safety expert Eoghan Cleary to discuss the impact and risks children face online.

Children and young people today are facing unprecedented levels of challenges to their wellbeing. From personal, social and sexual pressures to the impact of technology, social media and pornography, children and adolescents are navigating an increasingly complex world. This talk equips parents with up-to-date knowledge of what children and young people are experiencing online while also providing practical strategies to support their child’s wellbeing, create safe spaces for them at home, and strengthen family communication. The talk is approximately 70minutes long (not including Q&A) and is for parents/guardians/carers or those working with children and adolescents. It is not suitable for young people under the age of 16.
